If you fulfil the following criteria, you are eligible to join the Berkhamsted Chilli Growing Society.

  1. Live in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire (sorry no Tringys or Wiggies)
  2. Grow chillis or intend to start growing chillis
  3. You won’t start counting how many poppadoms you’ve eaten when it’s time to pay the bill
  4. You can learn and recite the Berkhamsted Chilli Growing Society Mantra as follows:

    5. We sow the seed, right.
    Nature grows the seed, and then, we eat the seed.
    And then, after that, we sow the seed, nature grows the seed,
    and then, we eat the seed.
    And then, after that again, we sow the seed, nature grows the seed……………….
